Dancing Classrooms North Texas E-mail

     Dancing Classrooms is a New York City School District social development program for 5th graders founded by Pierre Dulaine, an internationally recognized ballroom dancer and teacher.  Featured in the award-winning documentary, Mad Hot Ballroom and Take the Lead, Dancing Classrooms North Texas was piloted in Dallas/Ft Worth in the Fall of 2006 in three Ft Worth ISD AND three Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD schools.  Now in the third year of programming, Dancing Classrooms North Texas serves more than 4,500 fifth grade ladies and gentleman each year throughout all 19 HEBISD, 15 Dallas ISD, 9 Ft Worth ISD, and 3 Birdville ISD elementary schools.

 

      USA DANCE DALLAS is proud to be part of a group of sponsers in 2008 for the 3rd Annual Dancing Classrooms North Texas Colors of the Rainbow Team Match. 

 

    BYRON NELSON, board members of USA DANCE DALLAS, is one of the Teaching Artist for the team from the David G. Burnet Elementary School in Dallas.   Here he is with his team who won the Gold metal in the Colors of the Rainbow Team Match on Thurs, May 15th, 2008.
