USA Dance Dallas is an non profit organization.  No one in the group is paid for his/her work, except for some dance set up personnel. 

 Our success depends on the enthusiasm of our members and especially our volunteers. Without them, our weekly dances would not run so smoothly.

 Here are some benefits for joining our volunteer team:
Time you donate to an non-profit organization can be deducted from your taxes. 
  Out-of-pocket expenses, including mileage and toll fees are deductible.

Craig Kunkel
Craig Kunkel received the National Volunteer of the Year award at the National DanceSport Championship on April 9th,2011. Craig has been a board member of the Dallas Chapter since 2004 and decided to leave the board and just be a volunteer in 2009.  As a volunteer, he still works harder than anyone else.  He is the backup DJ at the dances, he is involved in all the committees like the Annual November Showcase which he designs all the brochures and editing dance photos and videos.  He always there to help out whenever the chapter needs him.
We are so lucky to have him and so proud of him getting this award!
He is featured in the May-June 2011 issue of the American Dancer.
